Community Involvement
“The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away.”-William Shakespeare
Supporting the community where we live and work is important to us. We proudly donate our time and resources to organizations that help local families and invest in programs that make a difference in our community.
Geyser Park Scoreboards
Bob has dedicated over 20 years to the Saratoga Springs community volunteering as a coach of various youth sports at a variety of levels. Saratoga Financial Services has donated two new scoreboards to Geyser Park in effort to keep the park fully functional while supporting our local youth programs.
Youth Basketball
Bob has coached a youth basketball team at our local Saratoga Springs YMCA. Team SFS worked to further develop their ball skills, teamwork and sportsmanship and finished with a successful winning season!
Annual Shred Event
Each spring our office hosts a shred event in recognition of Earth Day where clients are able to safely dispose of old documents and confidential files free of charge. In recent years we have collaborated with Confidata, The Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce and the Saratoga Business Journal, making the event community-wide while partnering with local non-profit organization, Act With Respect Always to bring in donations for their "pay it forward" movement. Act With Respect is passionate about respect in our schools, sports, and lives. We have recently started hosting our annual shred event at The Wilton Mall's JC Penny parking lot.
Each year we've nearly filled the shred truck with an estimate of over 10,000 pounds of paper which is securely destroyed, baled and shipped to local paper mills to be recycled for reuse into everyday paper products.
YMCA Scoreboards
Bob is a very active member of the community and has previously served as a YMCA board member. He has enjoyed playing in past YMCA’s winter basketball leagues and has dedicated a great deal of time to volunteering as a youth coach over the years. Saratoga Financial Services has donated two new scoreboards to the Saratoga Springs YMCA, in hopes to keep our local non-profit facility up-to-date for the community.
