The coronavirus outbreak, which has brought global economies to a near standstill, has sent the major US equity averages (the S&P 500, Dow, and Nasdaq) tumbling into bear market territory, putting an end to the record bull run that began in the aftermath of the financial crisis.
When should you start taking Social Security?
That's a difficult question to answer. Many people think that starting Social Security as early as possible is a good way to achieve an early retirement.
However, while you get a boost in income when you start Social Security, the earlier you start, the lower your monthly benefit amount will be (for life).
